Here is why -
An armed group believed to be al-Shabaab stormed Ijara police station and burnt it down in the wee hours of the night. The group also destroyed a Safaricom mast with explosives and later escaped with a stolen vehicle belonging to the attacked police station. No injuries or deaths have been reported from the incident.
