Here is why -
A Shan youth who is helping the children living near Muslim Internally Displaced People (IDP) Camp in Rakhine State and the Chief Minister of Shan State were used in religious incitement on social media by a Rakhine man.
A post critical of the two Shan men were posted on the Facebook on 1 April.
The name of the Shan social activist is Ko Sai Han Hteik and he has been helping children since the outbreak religious riots in Meiktila.
A Facebook page with the name of Than Tun using the photos posted by Ko Sai Han Hteik on Facebook wrote “Shan Youth, Kular (a derogatory term used in Myanmar against Muslims and South Asian origins).
from The Chaung, International community and Shan Chief Minister” which is used to spread false accusations against the Chief Minister and the social activist.
