This report is Probably true
and is of
Low Priority.
Here is why -
U Wirathu in a campaign for vote for President U Thein Sein said voters should select
candidates who are beneficial for race and religion even if they are disliked. He was speaking at an event marking the changing the name of Kandawmin Park in Yangon to U Ottama Park.
“If voters do not vote for candidates who are beneficial for race and religion on the basis of personal dislikes then the votes will be wasted and loss for such candidates is a loss for the nation,” U Wirathu said.
Despite the 2008 Constitution prohibits monks from voting and campaigning for vote U Wirathu is blatantly campaigning for President U Thein Sein.
