Here is why -
On the first day of the convocation ceremony, when the Vice Chancellor had given out the majority of the certificates and the Chancellor had given out special honors, this rumor began to circulate. However, it was claimed that this was always the plan and that student protests had no impact on it. Furthermore, on the second and third days of the convocation event, the Chancellor presented the majority of the certificates.
