Here is why -
The chief of Rakhine State Police, U Sein Lwin, was quoted as saying by the Myanmar Review news that the stimulant tablets seized in Buthidaung recently could be linked to an international terrorist group, so called the Islamic State, ISIS.
Also another local newspaper Development quoted U Sein Lwin as saying that more than 6 million tablets seized on 19 September could be sent to the ISIS.
According to a police official in the State Police Department the key suspect in the case is a Bangladeshi national which raised suspicion over the involvement of ISIS. The key suspect Nyi Chit also hold Myanmar citizenship.
The seized drug worth more than Kyat 12 billion, and two people were arrested in connection with the case and the key suspect Nyi Chit, who is the owner of the brick factory, where the drugs were seized is still evading the arrest.
