Medium Priority.
Here is why -
Even though people who alleged to post insulting messages against the Commander-in-Chief were recently indicted under the Electronic Act, but those who are posting insulting message against Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and other famous people are condoned by the authorities, The Daily Eleven newspaper reported on 15 February.
Facebook users Ma Chaw Sandi Htun (a.ka. Chit Thami), U Myo Zaw Nyunt and U Khun Jarli were indicted under electric law and they were imprisoned recently after they were accused of posting insulting messages against the Commander-in Chief.
A joint secretary of the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) from Ayeyarwady region was indicted for posting fabricated indecent photo of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.
Although he was arrested and charged in October same time as Ma Chaw Sandi Htun and U Khun Jar Li were arrested. But USDP official is yet to be sentenced by the court.
