Muslim and Hindu National Registration Cards (three-fold cards) or NRC Cards holders cannot have chance to vote for election at Pha-an Distinct, Kayin State.
But Burmese, Chinese and Kayin ethnic NRC cards holders can vote for election although Muslim and Hindu cannot vote said U ThanNaing, NLD candidate of PyithuHluttaw at Pha-an distinct.
NRC card (three-fold card) holders can vote at 1974 election, 1990 election and 2010 election and neglect Muslim and Hindu card holders at the last version of voter list although they involved first and second time voter lists for 2015 election, he said.
So National League for Democracy (NLD) reported to Township election commission for that case at Nov 3, but election commission replied cannot execute anything for that case at Nov 4 because three-fold cards are not involved in 1982 citizenship law.
