This report is confirmed true, the old man from Atende in Yei River county who went grazing his cattle didn't return home alive. he was shot on the leg and bleed to death and the bushes set ablaze which burnt his body along. the old man went to graze 48 herds of cattle ,all of which were raided by reiders who were identified by the locals to be of the Mundari ethnic tribe and few from the Dinka Bor ethnicity. out of the 48 cattle reided, one cow managed to return home on the same day and four other cows returned the next day making a total of 5 cows that returned back home. according to our source, these cattle herders arrived their area since the 27th of february, they grazed on peoples cassava and sorghum farmlands making people have nothing left to eat. while speaking to him, he was at the county commissioners office awaiting meeting him to lay the grievances of his people. its also said that the cattle herders are headed towards Lainya county. the deceased the deceased will be laid to rest tomorrow 6th. we will keep following up this development.
