Here is why -
The youths who have been engaged in cleaning Garsen area under the National Youth Service project have not received any payments as promised. The NYS officer in charge promised to follow up with his seniors to address the issue and the youths are still waiting for the feedback. They have confronted the officer in charge several times and are planning to down their tools in the event the feedback on their pay is not received soon.
