Here is why -
The chief of Rakhine State Police Force, Police Colonel Thit San, said more security measures have been put in place to prevent the people from Bangladesh infiltrate into Myanmar.
He said the measures include checking national identification cards at highway bus stops in Sittwe.
President U Thein Sein denied claim that Rohingya people exist in Myanmar, his government term Muslims in Rakhine State as illegal Bengali immigrants. Rohnigya people are facing severe rights abuses in Myanmar.
