Here is why -
Anti-Muslim signboard was set up at 3:30 pm on 15th June 2015 in Ote Bridge Block, Yat Sauk
Township, in the Southern Shan State. The message of the signboard posted is as follows –
Muslim free zone:
1. Muslims are prohibited from resting or sleeping at night.
2. Properties must not rent or sold to the Muslims.
3. Marriage with Muslims is prohibited.
After the authorities of Yat Sauk Township requested to remove the signboard, the signboard was
relocated to another place.
