Here is why -
A school to be operate under the auspices of the Race and Religion Protection Committee (Ma Ba Tha) is under construction in Hlegu Township near Yangon. The school is under construction on a five-acre land situated on the Balar Thit Khwa Road of Hlegu.
The School is to be called as “Mahawthada” and it is schedule to start classes in June 2016. The main objective of the school is to produce new generation of youths who cherish the race and religion.
The school will accept up to 1500 students for grade 8, 9 and 10 and for 2016-17 school year Grade 8 students will be allowed to enroll from this year.
A leading Ma Ba Tha Monk Dr Ashin Thaw Pa Ka wrote on his Facebook page that the school will provide free food, lodging and medical attention for the students and the curriculum include subjects on nationalism and religious subjects.
