Here is why -
A Sri Lankan factory manager in Pakistan has been beaten to death and set ablaze by a mob, police confirmed, in an incident local media reported was linked to alleged blasphemy. The incident had taken place in Sialkot, about 200km (125 miles) southeast of the capital Islamabad, on 3rd December 2021. Armagan Gondal, the Sialkot police chief, had told the Associated Press that the factory workers had accused the victim of desecrating posters bearing the name of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
