The rumour on the increase in commodity prices in Bor following the attack on Bor-Juba road was confirmed to be false. The temporary closure of the Bor-Juba highway has not led to an increase in prices of commodities in markets in Bor according to information from Jonglei State Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber stated that there has been continuous supply of goods to Bor by means of boats on the Nile throughout the period of the closure of the road.
