Here is why -
One Rohingya youth who was under detention inside the Insein prison has died at the Insein hospital, the Yangon Southern District Police Department said on 14 February. Ko Kyaw Zin Aung (a.k.a) Omaw Fashid, 18, was one of the 7 men arrested for entering into Yangon illegally.
He was arrested while he was hiding in Pyay Township, where he was trafficked from his native Mrauk U Township through Ann Township. He paid unspecified amount of money to his trafficker, Police Lieutenant Colonel U Kyi Lwin the Superintendent of the Yangon Southern District Police Department said.
The dead youth has been suffering from hepatitis. He and the other six people were under trial at the Thongwa Township court under section 6 (2), 6(3) of the 1949 Myanmar National Registration Act, Thongwa Township Police said.
