Aung Zeyar Tu Journal is published by MaBaTha Central Committee and in the past it has carried many articles which insult Islam. No action has taken against the Journal despite of the 5 Government recorganized Islamic organizations have asked the Government to ban the journal twice in 2014 and once last year.
The article with the title “Let us untidily protect our race and religion” which was written by Ashin Awbatha (Thaton) said indigenous people in Afghnistan, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, India Malaysia, Indonesia were forcibely converted to Islam by threatening them with attacks and killing if not did not convert.
