Myanmar has also been approached by IS to form new members. “In Myanmar, anti-terrorism law has been issued since 2014. Including U Zaw Zaw Latt, three members of social workers from organization of interfaith harmony in Mandalay and 20 other households from Taunggyi, went to attend a wedding but got arrested on the charge of being in contact with illegal connection. The international community has warned the Myanmar government not to target Muslim again as it was in 2014 when the leader of Al-Qaida declared act of terrorism against Myanmar. Also not to target this time and stop religious discrimination and extremism within the country.
