Government ask AA to surrender through monks

The Rakhine State Government has offer members of the Arakan Army (AA), immunity from persecution if they surrender. The offer was made on 6 February and it was send through monks from the disciplinary committee. The offer also include a request to the AA troops to work together with the State government for development of Rakhine State. And it said if they are interested to exchange arms for peace, they could surrender their weapons to the nearest military posts or the township administration offices.
