The Chief Minister of Ayeyarwady Region said coming to power of a pro-Western government in Myanmar would bring into the country wars like in Iraq and Saudi Arabia. He chairs the region’s USDPand contesting from Ingapu Township.
He suggested voters not to vote NLD, which he said has put obstacles to the government and also as theparty is led by a leader who is linked to foreign blood.
U Thein Aung ex Brigadier General offered voters free of charge National identification card anyone who vote for him. NLD party’s Ayeyarwaddy Region chair Dr Myo Nyunt sent a complaint to the election commission against U Thein Aung for use of his authority in campaigning for vote. But the commission declined to take any action against the Chief Minister.
