Here is why -
A series of religious incitements appeared on the social media following appointment of a Christian, U Henry Van Thio, by the National League for Democracy (NLD) as a Vice Presidential candidate.
Such incitements appeared only a few hours after the party confirmed on his nomination.
A Facebook page with a name of Tha Kya Thiha Ashin Ariya Linka, which have many followers, wrote that he doubted Daw Aung San Suu Kyi was a Buddhist and her mother was a Christian.
Other posts says it will also be possible that Muslims might come into the government.
