Here is why -
In Rakhine where over millions of Rohingya population live, out of them only 3000 national identification cards have been legally issued during the tenure of the current government, said Rakhine State Immigration Office.
Bengali tribe( Rohingya) 2843 have been issued with legal National Identification Cards in Rakhine and another 97 people have been issued legally with National Identification Cards in Maybone under current Government rule, said Rakhine State Immigration Officer, U Khin Soe.
