This report is Confirmed true and is of Medium Priority. Here is why -
A news published in the Union Daily, a newspaper published by the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) has featured an article with the tittle “How to prevent those who want to demolish the Western door”. The article was published in the 4th August edition of the paper and it was written by a monk columnist Bandanta Kaw Thala Dhama Zaw Tika Zade. The article begins with the issues faced by Bangladesh. Then it said people from Bangladesh has illegally migrated into Bangladesh. It said there are a total of 194 wards in Buthidaung and Maung Daw out of which 72 are exclusively Muslim wards and 22 wards and villages are inhabited by Rakhine and in 100 wards have mixed communities. It continued to talk about the Rakhine Communists and Muhadeeds and said there are no minority group with the name of Rohingya. The article said people from Bangladesh are trafficked first to Buthidaung and Maung Daw and then they are transported to Ramree Island by boats. It also said they are then move to Thandwe through Kyauk Ni Maw village. In Thandwe they are accommodated in mosques and taught Myanmar language. After they learn Myanmar they are sent to several parts of Myanmar to preach on religious extremism. The views are just fictions and editor seemed to have not done fact checking on the article.
