A comment purportedly written by Myanmar independence hero General Aung San, which include anti-Muslim rhetoric, was circulated in the social media.
The comment posted on the social media page of Kapiya Pho Tae on 16 January include the signature of General Aung San and the text said, “During the time of our kings we Bamar treat you Muslims as our slaves”. It was found out later that the text was not included in the original message by General. it was believed to be done through distortion of the original photo. The post was shared among 226 social media users, 420 people liked the post and 10 people have wrote their comment on the post.
