Only 600 Rohingya have voting rights

This report is Probably true and is of Low Priority. Here is why -
The details of Rakhine state voters list was published on 21st July 2015. ‘There are only 600 people with voting rights from a Rohingya population of more than a million.’ said U Thu Rain, an officer from Election Commission. These voters are from Maungdaw, Buthidaung, Sittwe, Myay Bone and Kyauk Phyu Townships. The Rohingya population had voting rights until the 2010 general election but the right has vanished under Thein Sein’s government.
