This incident is confirmed true, it all happened yesterday 10th February around 1pm when a passenger car belonging to a popular driver was ambushed and the car set ablaze around Kembe River in Yari Boma of Yei River County. The driver and his passengers were all abducted and later passengers were released but the driver and owner of the vehicle remain at large. His whereabouts are still unknown, but speaking to security operatives, they said they are yet to establish his status and urge citizens of Yei to be calm as they work towards securing him. This incident has caused a lot of fear in the hearts of people. Today 13th, the driver was found by authorities and allowed to give his statement and later taken home in Yei to reunite with his family.
