This report is Confirmed true and is of High Priority. Here is why -
According to local residents, a group of ultra-nationalist group in Myay Bone town in Rakhine State are going around many villages and towns in Rakhine State and posted notices calling for not to do business transaction with Muslims and not to employ them. The similar posters were also seen in Min Bya town during mid-September. “The notice were posted near Peik The village, where many Muslims live and also in the Rakhine villages near the highway bus stand,” a local resident said. The notice said message was from the group called itself the Young Protectors of the Religion and the notice warned that those who do not abide it would have to face severe consequences. A local Muslim resident of San Hto Tan said he saw similar notice in Thu Hay Gone village close to a majority Muslim village San Hto Tan. “We have good relations with the villagers from Thu Htay Gone, most of whom are Buddhist and Christians, I heard that the head of village administration of Cheit Taung village had posted the notice,” he said. “We are not allow to go to town so we have to buy things from the people in the nearby Rakhine Village and also if we want to sell our farm products we have to do through them. People from our village can go to some nearby Rakhine village to do work, but not to all Rakhine villages. I think the notice will destroy good relations between us,” he added. Similar messages calling the majority Buddhists to boycott Muslims were also circulated across Myanmar by the supporters of the Ma Ba Tha and its affiliate 969 movement. There have also been anti-Muslim sermons preached in many parts of the country. These activities have been done blatantly in the areas, which are under the administration of the government. But so far, no strong action have been taken against the perpetrators of such acts. Reference Sources of BHRN
