The man U Khain Maung Myint a.k.a Malwi Hafiz was produced in Sanchaung court today and the judge charged him for alleged insult of Buddhist relion and for using vulgar language. The Sanchaung City police station said 34 year-old U Khin Maung Myint was arrested on 20 July after he reportedly shouted abusive language in front of Sanchaung Police station he also kick on the ground were 969, a symbol used by Buddhist nationalist was written . The accused a former religious teacher has a history of mental illness he has been taking treatment for his mental illeness form Ywatakyi Pschactric hospital since 2009 but he reportedly gone out of his senses frequently. A family member of U Khin Maung Myint has submitted medical certificates from hospital, he has been allowed to appear in court on September 1st after taking a treatment for his mental illeness. The Sanchaung Court charged U Khin Maung Myint with provisions 294,295,295(a), 353,506 of Penal Code for alleged insult to religion and disturbing public order.
