This report is Confirmed true and is of High Priority. Here is why -
A decree announced on 25 October by the local administration and the monks in a small village in Magwe Region has called for ban on the Muslims entering into the Ma Au Le village in Yesacho Township. The decree also include not selling lands and homes to Muslims in the village. It also include putting up a sign in the village with the message “Kular (a derogatory terms used in Myanmar to refer the Muslims and the people of South Asian origins) are not allow to trespass the village”. And it urged the local administration to pass the order not to allow Muslims to live in the village, before the end of his current term. Similarly, signs to ban Muslims were also put up in other townships in Magwe Region. Such a sign was put up on 30 March at Kone Thar village in Minbu Township and in Tha Pyay San village in Ye Nang Chaung Township on 27 August. Reference: Source of BHRN
