This is confirmed true, the Yei county administration has informed traders who operate in that premises to vacate the land as there's a planned facility construction to take place of which after the construction, traders will be required to come back and occupy the facility for their businesses again. this premise (the hawker) is mostly occupied by traders who deal in the sale of second hand clothes. we spoke to one of the county official and he said the aim of doing this is to improve the structures of the hawker and to make sure that the traders operate in a more conducive and favorable structure and as well to generate better revenues to the county through the rental fees that will be generated by the structure after completion. he also said that, for now, all the traders are required to sell their items from out side the premise to allow works to go on.
