This report is Probably false and is of Medium Priority. Here is why -
A group which call itself “the Buddhist Nationalists” has alleged that some mosques in Thalyin Township were built illegally. They made the allegation in a complaint letter sent to the Township Administration Department on 28 July. The complaint letter said the Dargar mosque, the Bogyoke Ne Win Road mosque and the Sein Gyun mosque, which situated at the corner of U Phoe Thein Road, were built illegally. It also said the authorities should take necessary actions against those who built these mosques. Thanlyin Township is situated in the Southern District of Yangon. In a recent event, construction of a hall inside the Dargar Mosque, in which a Muslim saint is buried, was forced to called off after a complaint filed by the people in the ward. The construction was done with the permission of the Mosque’s Trustees. According to a trustee of the mosque, the matter should have been resolved through the involvement of the Municipal department. Instead, the Buddhist Nationalist group had posted a series of messages on social media saying that the other Mosque were also build without official permission. Similar incidents of complaint by so-called Buddhist Nationalists against Mosques in Mandalay and Yanogn Regions were reported. Also in Ayeyarwaddy Region, they are urging the local authorities to ban the use of loud hailers in call of prayers from the mosques. They also called on their social media posts to be vigilant against illegal construction of mosques. Reference: Source of BHRN
